What Happens If I Die Before I Receive My Prize?
In the event of a prize winner’s death, representatives of the estate will need to contact the AHR office in order to begin the process of transitioning payments to the beneficiaries.  If there is no Beneficiary Designation on file at the time of your death, AHR will make payments pursuant to established AHR procedures or as ordered by the courts of the company jurisdiction.  Designating beneficiaries for your prize payments simplifies the process for transferring prize payments to your heirs.  You may submit a Beneficiary Designation Form to the email address on your receipt of payment to the AHR Office. All winners will have a period of 180 days to claim their prize; Though AHR will make reasonable efforts to contact winners, it is not the responsibility of the company to ensure prize delivery to winner through extensive research. The information provided to the company is the primary source of data used to locate winners.

Prizes:
The Grand Prize is the home located in the respective raffle item, and is referred to in all raffle materials. If the home is not available due to circumstances outside the control of Affordable Home Raffle, as determined by AHR, the Grand Prize Winner will instead have a cash payment awarded. A minimum of 75% (percent) tickets must be sold by the date indicated on specific homes available for sale. If fewer than 75% of tickets are sold by said date AHR retains the rights to reschedule the draw at a date no later than 45 days after the first draw date. AHR has the right to reschedule the draw a maximum of three times for the purpose of selling tickets and said dates must be communicated on the companies literatures including but not limited to letters, blogs, emails or websites to update purchasers. Otherwise, raffle will be held as scheduled, and all prizes will be awarded based on “Raffle Proceeds”. Should it be the case that after the third deferment of the draw the minimum percentage ticket sales are not reached, a draw for half the funds collected shall be implemented? The Grand Prize Winner will receive 50% of the Net Raffle Proceeds paid as a onetime cash payment. Net Raffle Proceeds will be calculated based on Affordable Home Raffle accounting, which shall be final and conclusive with respect to the Winners. For these purposes “Net Raffle Proceeds” are defined as the balance of funds left after paying all other prizes, all raffle expenses and all expenses for the House. At the option of Affordable Home Raffle, the drawing date for the grand prize may take place earlier if all raffle tickets have been sold.
